Cognitron LLC · Omaha, Nebraska
Cognitive exercise, measured the way physical exercise is measured.
Something is coming for healthy aging. Cognitron is a tablet platform in development that will help older adults make cognitive exercise a regular, social part of the week, and make that exercise measurable over time. It is being built in Nebraska, with clinicians, researchers, and the community settings where older adults already gather.
Designed for the places older adults already gather: senior centers, faith communities, and residential communities.

Engage + Monitor
Structured cognitive exercise paired with measurement of engagement over time
We track steps. We do not track cognitive exercise.
A person can tell you exactly how much they walked this week. Ask how much structured cognitive exercise they did, and how it changed over the past six months, and there is no answer. Clinic testing gives a snapshot once in a while. Consumer brain games give entertainment with no shared measurement. The everyday middle, regular cognitive exercise in community settings with honest measurement built in, is largely empty. That is the space Cognitron is being built to fill.
Cognitron is in its research and development phase. The platform is not for sale yet, and we are keeping the details of how it works under wraps while we build and study it with our partners.
Built for community settings, not clinic waiting rooms
Older adults spend their weeks in senior centers, faith communities, libraries, and residential communities. Cognitron goes there.
Accessible by default
Large type, high contrast, simple touch targets, and plain language. A participant who has never owned a tablet can sit down and start.
Social, on purpose
Sessions run in person, in a group, at a site people already trust. Showing up for each other is part of what keeps attendance steady.
Built with researchers
Cognitron is being developed with clinical and research partners at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, so what gets built can be studied honestly.
Cognitive exercise, tracked as a trend over time rather than a single score.
What Cognitron is, and what it is not
Cognitron is a platform for cognitive engagement and monitoring. It does not diagnose any condition, it does not treat any condition, and it does not replace clinical care or clinical assessment. Its job is narrower and, we think, overdue: make cognitive exercise regular, social, and measurable for older adults.
Three ways in
Cognitron is preparing its first research pilots now. Tell us which door fits you and we will be in touch as places open.
Run a pilot site
Senior centers, faith communities, libraries, and residential communities that serve adults 55 and older. Sites provide the room and the welcome. The Cognitron team handles the rest.

Researchers, funders, and community organizations working on healthy aging in real neighborhoods. Partnerships shape where Cognitron goes next.
